Library Media Center

The Library, located adjacent to the Fine arts Studio at the lower level, serves as a Reference/Research center designed primarily for serious study and independent work. Our fully equipped Electronic Information Center provides additional opportunities for research via the World Wide Web.

The goal of the library media program is to ensure that students and teachers are effective users of ideas and information. This goal is accomplished:

• by providing a facility that functions as the information center of the school
• by providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats
• by providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, and using information and ideas
• by working with other teachers to meet the needs of the students
